Aleesia (spanish name pronounced: Alicia) was born in 1988 in fuengirola, Only 25km from Malaga International Airport is the town of Fuengirola – one of the most popular destinations on the Costa del Sol, where she grew up all her childhood along with her Spanish born mother & Jamaican born father, her 5 sisters & 1 brother. Her modeling career started after her mother entered her into the spanish "Prom tot talento" at the age of 3 where she picked up her first modeling contract. Aleesia's mother had found her talent. In the following years she was flown across the world from her contractors to do shoots being put on billboards from America to Japan. Her contract ended at the tender age of 10 where her mother decided not to renew it but to leave modeling to concentrate on high school and family life. Although she got contracted at the age of 14 after entering the second in the Supermodel of the World contest sponsored by Spanish Elle.
At the age of 17 Aleesia left her hometown, her school where she had been accepted in a university, family, friends and moved to London. Thanks to her latin beauty, she quickly worked with famous brands designers such as Lacoste, Hermes, Alain Manoukian, Bisou-Bisou, Olivier Strelli, Hanro and Wolford… She also appeared on the covers of prestigious magazines like Elle or Cosmopolitan.
Aleesia has been the face of two fragrances : Carolina Herrera’s Aquaflore (in 1998) and Givenchy’s Organza Indecence since the end of 1999.
