Hi, I'm a local photographer with lots of experience in the GTA area. I have shot assignments from models, to weddings and what I would consider my strong point portraiture. What I mostly enjoy about portraits is the closeness and connectivity I get with my subjects. Looking through the eye finder and feeling that right moment to press the shutter is an integral part of understanding light, composition and most importantly my subject. I enjoy studio work, incorporating off camera lights and light modifiers, but I tend to shoot outdoor more often as I feel natural elements and light from the sun typically gives me the desired results. I'm an easy going person and like to get to know my subject before proceeding with the assignment. I'll typically ask what's the intent of the shoot and feeling you want. Is there something that inspired you lately either from a magazine, movie etc. But more importantly, clothing and accessories, hats, scarfs, bracelets, shoes so and so on...the camera likes to see elements of surprise things that the human eye gets drawn to. However, I feel it's always the photographers game to make the end result easy on the eyes and frame the most important element which is "YOU"
I have a website with some photographs that show my style of photography, the lighting I use and post process I'm able to apply when needed. I use only top quality equipment and lights with each shoot to achieve professional results.
