Certified freelance makeup artist presently living in New York City. I consider makeup artistry as my true calling. From as early as the age of five, I have been intrigued with makeup products and loved to "play" in makeup. I am very passionate about the art of makeup artistry because it allows me to express my creativity and enhance the natural beauty of others. I have created makeup looks for my friends, family members, as well as professional models. I spend a lot of hours studying and learning new techniques and tricks on how to enhance my craft. I spend time shopping and buying different cosmetic products to educate myself on the quality of the products. I have worked in the past as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant selling Cosmetics and other Beauty Aide products to both women and men. I was pretty successful being a beauty consultant for Mary Kay. I still provide beauty consultation to those that seek my professional knowledge.
I have taken classes at Mac Pro Studio learning makeup applications,eyebrow shaping and applying false eyelashes. I have taken Makeup lessons with celebrity makeup artist Ms. Shon Simons (www.shonsimons.com) My makeup artistry certification comes from Lia Schorrs Beauty Institute in New York City. I have performed makeup artistry for models appearing in music video, lingerie wear, book cover, and fashion layouts . My style of makeup artistry is Glamour and Dramatic. I am a Self-Published author of my book titled "Natural Beauty Recipes" E-book version that is available for purchase on TheBookPatch.com.
My personal goal is to learn all that is needed to be learned and more, makeup application trends are steady changing and I want to evolve as a makeup artist. My plan is to go as far as I can with no limits to stand in my way of a rewarding and lucrative career.
