From a very young age I have always been interested in art, drawings, paintings and photography. I have always felt the need to have creativity in my life, and it wasn’t until the beginning of 2010 that I realised photography is my most favourable subject within those arts.

To learn more about the subject I took up a course in Level 2 NCFE Photography at the Tregenver Adult Education centre in Falmouth. During and since finishing that course I have learnt that I find myself mostly being lead towards portraits, fashion photography and wedding photography. I realise that these topics within photography can be quite different sometimes, but they are my favourites to do, and they also tie in perfectly with the work that I do now. I like to have variation in my work!

I am currently a self employed Beautician, Make-up Artist, Hair Stylist, and Photographer (I like to keep myself busy!). I rent premises within Helston where I have a Treatment Room and a Photography Studio. As well as working there I also do a lot of mobile Bridal Packages around Cornwall throughout the Spring and Summer months, and I am now getting booked up with wedding photography for 2011/2012.

Two years ago my goal was to have my own successful business doing what I was training for at the time, and with a lot of hard work all of my own I have succeeded in that. My next goal is to take a slight turn in direction and try braking out into being a well known photographer in the area that people admire and look up to. Such as the way that I love and admire Bjorn Thomassen’s work (a local Cornish photographer).

I intend on doing this by pushing myself to my limitations, and by throwing my work out there to be seen by all.
