Been taking photographs for years mostly for local newspapers within the west of Scotland, however I find this restricting, be in two places twenty miles apart all at the same time. I would like to take the pictures that I want to take, and have the time to take them, not be at the mercy of some deranged person who has the mistaken title of editor
Also browned off with some of the people who are now in the business,most of them would nor know what a developing tank was, let alone know how to load a spiral, ID11 and 1+1, or 1+2 is a strange language ,they stick a wide angle into someone's face and call it Arty and in many cases would not know what a diffuse light enlarger is and what to do with it is well beyond their capabilities.
