I'm a Vancouver-based amateur digital photographer and hobbyist who is presently into environmental portraiture, and small-strobe photography. My 'photography education' is currently limited to a couple courses from Langara's reputable photography program and a kick-ass strobist workshop from Vancouver Photography Workshops (VPW) - however, I've been told that the only way to get better is to shoot a lot and just keep on shootin'.

My goal right now is building a portfolio with the possibility of shooting for paid work from casual clients or stock photography. My working style with models is fairly straightforward: mutual respect and a lot of patience. You don't have to be the prettiest or most handsome or super experienced - just be open-minded and kind :) And as Madonna puts it, "Don't just stand there, let's get to it. Strike a pose, there's nothing to it!"

Equipment: I'm a cropped-sensor DX shooter with lots and lots of strobist gear. Bring on the light!
