minor profile update Aug 2015

LOCATION: NW Arizona, Santa Barbara Calif, points in between.

MONEY: I won't ask you to pay unless I have to travel to do a shoot that won't help my port.

I MIGHT pay YOU for a shoot if it is what i am looking for.

I PREFER TFCD.  I provide a CD/DVD at the end of each shoot with a copy of all pics.  If i have to pay you to shoot or edit pics for you then there may be a minimal charge for cd or edits depending on what is required.

Concept:  I choose NOT to shoot nudes but to push the imagination instead.  There are so many good nude photographers that leave so little to the imagination.  I strive to start the fantasy with a photograph, but allow the viewer to finish it is his or her own mind.

Style: I like non-traditional shoots, older settings (20's -60's) pinups, car shows, etc.  Looking to do shoots similar to the following magazine styles: Maxim, FHM, American Curves, Smooth, Low Rider, Ink etc.  Amateur, mature, and BBW models encouraged to inquire.  ink and piercings welcome again, i don't shoot nudes.

Personal: male easy going, always professional, quiet at times, outgoing at times.

Qualifications:  over 30 years of experience in many phases of photography including camera sales, dark room, and photographer.  Not just another gwc, feel free to ask anyone I've worked with.  past involvement with many students of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara

Equipment options: Pentax D-slr (digital), Ricoh 35mm(film), Bronica 6x4.5(medium format film), 3 zoom lenses and two fixed length lenses that fit either Pentax or Ricoh.  Sunpack flash. 

Studio: 13x40 with 20' ceilings, 5 roll backdrops, assorted fabric backgrounds, misc electronic flashes.

Wardrobe: approximately 300 articles of clothing including shoes, hats, and other props.

Goals:  diversify portfolio, improve quality of my work,

Compensation: I do some tfcd/p but will also pay models for select shoots of my choosing.  I have not started to sell my work yet so any paid shoots come out of my pocket.  Of course I'm more than willing to get paid for a shoot. 

Location: based in northwest az but open to travel and I'm frequently in Arizona, Las Vegas and southern California. 

Friends:  If I added you as a friend then I hope to work with you sometime.  If you are not interested in my style or working with me, don't accept the request.  I welcome tags but I request that you only add me as a friend if you are open to my style of shoot and are somewhat close (200mi) or expect to be near me and will consider tfcd or working dirt cheap.  I do not add people just to have lots of friends and ask that you do the same in my case. .... yes i have a large number of friends.  I have been on mm for many years.  They add up.  I am trying to weed out the earlier "friends" that I am less likely to work with.  If you notice you have been removed and want to work with me feel free to add yourself again.
