About Me

Makeup artistry is more of a hobby for me than anything -- I used to model for a while and just sort of fell into it. That's why most of my pictures are of... well, me. My face is around for me to work on all of the time, and it's my best subject. It (mostly) obeys. I'm open to modeling, but I'm not thin, not even remotely. I'm okay with it, so you'd have to be too. I've done fetish shoots, some nude work, and I'm a fan of the stranger and more odd -- the better. My makeup work has tended to follow suit.

I have a degree in Theatre and have done makeup for several shows back home. (I'm from the midwest.) Some of those pictures are included, but they're not exactly super-quality so not many of them are useable. Just know that I've worked with prosthetics and special effects makeup and that I can create latex prosthetics if necessary for a shoot.

As of May 2011, I'm enrolled in Cosmetology school so I can up my game and provide more for myself and my portfolio as well as my clients and photographers. This also means that my time is somewhat limited by my wonky class schedule -- so please send requests as far in advance as possible!

Here in Cali I've moonlit as a MUA for a friends. Generally it's a random phone call, (last minute usually) and we go from there. I tend to be pretty flexible, and I like being able to go on shoots and work with different models and just sort of work as we go. Photographer imput is important to me.

I loooove to sew! I collect and create costumes as a hobby. I do renaissance faires and theatre and so for me sewing is sort of like makeup in a way -- it's a way to create a character. Clothes, makeup, hair -- it's all a way to create something other than the normal. I have a new obsession with Steampunk and Neovictorian styles -- beware!
