Im going to break this down into a bit series of things.

1. Who am I?

My name is Mikael and I am new to photography, but I have tons of ideas that I would like to express and photography is my chosen medium. I am by no means a professional, though I do hope to make a name for myself in the coming years.

I am recently enlisted in the US Army and as such I have a limited amount of time in which to get some of my ideas down. I am not looking to go crazy, however i'd like to be able to see where my talent lies.

I cannot afford to compensate anyone so anyone who wishes to go ahead and work with me must also be in the business of doing photo sets gratis. [I merely want to get a few people who would like to get dressed up, take photos in and around manhattan and basically have fun doing so]

2. What do I hope to get out of this website?

Simply, meeting a host of new people in the creative field and those who will be willing to work with a new comer with ideas, but all in all meeting others who love being in front of and behind the camera.

3. Where does my style go?

Given that I am fairly new to photography, I'd say I haven't really developed a set "style" as yet. However most of the ideas I do have tend to lean towards classy, [GQ-esque], worldly [i.e various designs, make up and clothing style] and a bit of the bizarre.

4. What kind of people am I hoping to work with?

I am willing to work with anyone who isn't uptight, problematic, or self centred. I am a really down to earth guy [down to earth in the way that I will do random stupid things to make people laugh such as wearing boxers to a photoshoot in 0 degree weather. Some so crazy, I say getting down to business lol]. Seriously though all in all, I just want to have fun and truthfully I am really just trying to make some memories before I head off to combat.

The basic gist of me being here and asking for people to work with is simply to get some ideas out into the visual world, meeting new people, making new friends and really just making some memories before I head out to combat in a few months time.
