About Me

novelist. stylist. photographer.
Once rather serious about photography I stepped away from the lens to spend some time working on my writing, the time away paid off and I managed to write a novel that placed as a finalist for a distinguished award... but, I've missed playing in the world of light and beauty. As the saying goes; a picture is worth a thousand words...and after writing 60,000 words I feel drawn back to creating beautiful pictures. Some years ago I placed as the first runner up in the glamour/fashion category of the annual competition for a well known photography magazine...I suppose that suggests I have an eye for that kind of work. With my return to photography, be it a serious hobby or something more, I hope to explore that genre and possibly even tune my skills at fine art portraiture. Every image I've ever taken, be it with a model or a self portrait, has helped me tune and refine my style.
