I shoot film. I am an older guy that does all his own processing from film developing to custom printing. I am a former curator and current member of Fresno's Spectrum Art Gallery and I have been involved in photography for over forty years. I shoot medium format (2-1/4") film. My interests involve fine-art figure studies. Using film, things with me are a bit slow. Sometime weeks or months from shooting session to final prints. I normally print in traditional silver gelatin and sometimes will delve into alternative printing processes like toned cyanotype. My emphasis has always been on the art side of photography and have concentrated on basic art design elements such as line, form, shape, contrast, etc. I shoot out of my home as well as interesting outdoor locations. I don't have a large budget to pay a model but am easy to work with.
