I am an artist located in Wicker Park, Chicago. I have a small but legitimate gallery in The Flat Iron Arts Buiding.
The Infinity Gallery is a conceptual gallery that's been forming the last few years based on infinity themed art. As long as I can remember I've been facinated at how shapes and symbols affect our visual language. Particularly how some are "sacred" while others are "profane". Some are "universal" and others are subjective.
I got a small tattoo of an infinity symbol ( a sideways 8 ) on my lower back when I was 19, not really knowing wherer it would lead. Now I see it everywhere. It is rampant in all kinds of forms. Plants ( think eggs, peanuts, pears, DNA). The manufactued world( hourglasses, eye glasses, dollar signs). Even the human bodies that we inhabit. " hourglass figure".

I'd like to find models and other artists / photoraphers to collaborate with on projects. Not only for my own work, but their work for display in my gallery.
My goal is to have my website running ny the end of the year. I plan to have an online gallery to sell original work and prints based on the topic or symbol(s) of infinity.
