I am staying in Marblehead, MA until the end of April to help with some family stuff. As such, I'll be working out of the Boston/North Shore, when I'm not on the road. I should be back in Los Angeles for the beginning of May, 2012.

Hi, I'm Nick. I've been doing photography on and off for about ten years. I'm based in LA, but I spend a lot of time on the road. I do a lot of travel photography, and candid/street work, but am moving more towards headshots & portraiture.

I am actively looking to collaborate on projects to build a portfolio more focused on portrait and studio, and headshot photography. I believe in a mixed natural & lit images. I use a lot of off camera flash, and like to shoot outdoors, usually right before sunset, to take advantage of the beautiful, soft, warm light.

All that I ask from my collaborators are that you have as much respect for me as I have for you. That means if you need to cancel, please do it well in advance, and maybe try to find a replacement. Also, please understand that for every hour I spend with you, there's usually about two additional hours of work I need to put in. I need to scout locations, coordinate with the other members of the team, look at samples of your work, find a location, prep my gear (you have no idea how many batteries you need to charge as a photographer), and then finally post-processing. So please just keep that in mind if we're doing TFP; It's not just a quick thing for me, it's a lot of my time.
