Joneien Leah is a collection of contemporary seperates and dresses for the real petite woman. She is confident, chic, and proud of her feminine body. I saw a need in the marketplace for designer petite clothing beyond the basics. As a curvy petite woman, I wanted to fill that gap.
I have always known that I wanted to design clothing. What started as a hobby blossomed into an education at Iowa State University and fully bloomed while designing iniforms for Cintas. In October 2010 I deicide to make my dream become reality with much prayer and support from my family.
Joneien Leah is commited to keeping manufacturing in the U.S.A. and using local reseources, services, and collaborating with Chicago's talent. As a Chicago brand I feel it is my responsibility to help grow the fashion industry right here at home. I plan to use Model Mayhem to recruit local talent for photoshoots, runway, and other projects and creative collaborations.
