After studying the Liberal Arts at the University of Western Ontario, Janet Entwistle began her career in the world of fashion. Her ten years with the cosmetic industry began in 2000 with Estee Lauder. In November of 2001, Janet was featured in Beauty Fashion Magazine as one of the top nine managers with Estee Lauder, receiving recognition for outstanding job performance throughout all of North America. It wasn’t until 2003 that she found her true passion within makeup artistry. Her career with the leading cosmetics brand, MAC Cosmetics was launched while training under well known Toronto based makeup artists. Her management career of 5 years with MAC Cosmetics involved refined makeup artistry skills, including various levels of training and coaching of her staff of makeup artists. Janet’s ability to educate both men and women with her vast knowledge of cosmetics has led to speaking engagements at Fanshawe College, The University of Western Ontario, and various local events.Residing in London Ontario, Janet’s freelance career is composed primarily of bridal and private consultations. She continues to provide her talented professional artistry for television, photo shoots and fashion shows. Recently interviewed on Rogers Daytime Television, Janet experienced the opportunity to speak about the most current seasonal trends in makeup. A current rising singing star in the field of Canadian Country music, Stacey Zegers utilizes Janet’s professional makeup skills to enhance her beauty as she appears in her various country music videos and television appearances.She gives Janet both notoriety and recognition for her amazing work. Janet has also been involved in a Cancer Survivor Makeover Contest involving radio station FM 103.9. Sun Media recently interviewed Janet providing a full colour page in the Toronto Sun featuring several models, revealing her makeup artistry skills. Janet then appeared in a Sun Media video airing coast to coast with her makeup tips. Collaborating currently with various community groups, she readily volunteers her special talent to many charitable fashion shows in the London and surrounding areas receiving recognition in the London Free Press and other local newspapers.
