My name is Janel Cruz and I recently split with my long time firm, Teen Vogue, based out of London. I was born in Mexico City in 1988, and I graduated from NYU with my major in photgraphy. I have worked for Vogue, Teen Vogue, and other fashion editorials since I was 17. I also was featured as a guest photographer on America's Next Top Model on Cycle 7. Since splitting with the Vogue corporation I seek self-fulfillment by photographing local fashion icons, couture models, and fitness models. I now, as of 2011, have opened up my own studio in the heart of Atlanta.
