My name is Tom Bolger, I have been a working Retoucher and Art Director in NYC for almost 15 years, was the Imaging Director for Niche Media from 2000 to 2005 launching and doing principle retouching for them on 6 titles (Gotham Magazine, Hamptons, Los Angeles Confidential etc.) retouching the likenesses of A list celebrities and the work of such luminaries of the photo world as Patrick Demarchelier and Sante Dorazio. I have spent the last 6 years working predominantly in the Advertising world for firms like, Tag Worldwide, Ammirati Ready, Wieden + Kennedy and Red Peak doing retouching for companies like Nike, ESPN, Coca Cola, Intel, Best Buy, Glaceau, Graham Webb and many others. I specialize in complex photo-composites, photo-illustration, fashion and beauty and sports and lifestyle retouching. I started my own creative services company in December of 2010 to be able to bring the full range of my skill-sets to the creative process from on set to post production.

Having run the gamut of retouching methodologies I have a solid point of view as to what will serve a particular image/model best and always strive to be a part of the creative process and bring realistic and beautiful compositions to life.

Rates: Negotiable to a point, I am not cheap.

I am transitioning out of retouching full time and have been doing much more creative direction and illustration, and concepting/producing. I am willing to do TF for awesome photographers who are either: publishing in glossy national/international publications, want to collaborate with a Creative Director on a high concept shoot, or are going to enhance my book in some other tangible way. Right now I am looking primarily for high concept, high fashion/couture shoots as I have been working in the advertising fitness/lifestyle categories predominantly since 2006 and would like to update that part of my portfolio.
