ABOUT ME:

I am a creative Los Angeles Native! I have expressed myself through makeup artistry for a long time but just recently approached it from a business angle. I truly enjoy beautifying individuals with ALL walks in life....industry professionals (actors/models), beautiful pregnant women about to birth the next generation, women who have had a hard time battling obstacles in life and of course to the most hard working women I know; housewives for a HOT DATE with their hubbies!

I am currently a freelance makeup artist with aspirations to work my way into an agency soon! I am also a makeup instructor at the BEST makeup academy, ALL ABOUT FACE MAKEUP ACADEMY. I posses a positive personality and believe in being a team player...these qualities have and continue to land me long lasting relationships in the industry as well as working on AMAZING projects and generating further great opportunities.

A few things that I am NOT include: flaky, "hollywood", dramatic...ALL the things that will get you fired or never again re-hired!


MY PHILOSOPHY:

I don't just "do makeup." I really believe that I am fulfilling a purpose in my life. Every time someone sits in my chair, I am (for that moment) a part of them. They are susceptible to my energy. I can say or do something that can forever impact their thought process. Which is why I genuinely have a LOVE for all women. I understand how something so "simple" as being "made up" can really inspire a woman to make courageous choices for the betterment of her life; and ultimately in the lives of all those she touches. To me; touching a faces is touching a life.




Applying makeup is a learned skill. A woman RECOGNIZING herself after ALL that makeup is applied, is a talent. Making that woman FEEL beautiful...is the real GIFT!~KariLu
