Im Rebekah Grace, and I've been a hairstylist for over 8 years.

I studied Applied Design at RMIT, Melbourne, and after i completed that course I started my hairdressing apprenticeship. Having an eye for design and skills in that area have helped me immensely with my hairdressing and styling.

I won Apprentice of the Year at Boxhill Tafe in 2005, and was nominated again in 2006. I was also nominated for HBIA Apprentice of the year in 2006.

I have worked for Mario Guardiani of Linea for Hair for the last 6 years, and recently started at a brand new Kawsa Salon in North Balwyn, working for Paul Galileas owner of Kawsa Salons.

I have had the wonderful opportunity to study at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London in 2010, and in August 2011 will head to Vietnam for the Wella Red Forum.

I have done hair for Fashion Assassin and Wayne Cooper at Rosemount Fashion Week, a catwalk for a local fashion designer for the City of Stonnington Council, did hair backstage through Mario of Linea for Hair (for a friend of his - an international designer from Italy), worked with Biba on the 50 Years of Hairdressing and Beyond Catwalk show (raising funds for Queensland Flood Relief) and have styled for photoshoots with local photographers, makeup artists and models for model portfolios and tfp.

Having done so much hairstyling, i have found that this is where my passion lies. Although i love colouring and cutting, it is the styling side of things that lights my fire. I also want to achieve so much more in the realm of editorial and magazine work.

I am looking to collaborate with fashion designers, photographers, makeup artists, body painters, and models to extend my portfolio even further.
