Hello,
I'm from Northern California and my wife and I are a husband/wife team who run a portrait photography business. We're currently doing Trade for CD/Prints with models who are building a portfolio from scratch or looking to add to one. My main reasons for joining Model Mayhem are to add to my skill set, broaden my portfolio, and for a creative/artistic outlet. When I'm not shooting clients, post processing, working on my photography business, or spending time with my family, I am constantly working on improving my photography in order to provide the most value possible for my clients. No matter what level a person is at, there are always new things to learn or new avenues to explore. I'd like to work with like minded individuals who are looking to add to their portfolios and improve their skills. My clients are not experienced models so I am more than happy to work with those with little to no experience. I'm not looking to make any money here on MM but more like something along the lines of a mutually beneficial arrangement with models where we help each other accomplish our goals. I can offer a CD and/or prints of the work we do together. I have a good reputation and wish to keep it. Therefore, all female models who are interested in working with me are required to have a trusted escort accompany them to our meetings and shoots. My wife, who assists me on all of my work, and I are both easy going, friendly people and like to make our projects an enjoyable experience for all involved. We're not egotistical, don't have type A personalities, and dislike conflict/drama. We'd like to work with people with a similar frame of mind. Please, NO flakes. My wife and I dedicate ourselves full time to photography and conduct ourselves in a professional and respectful manner with those we work with. Even if we're doing a no charge shoot, we treat it as though it was for a paying client. We ask for the same type of respect and consideration in return. Hey, I'm interested to come to America in future but at the moment while traveling is still difficult, I am offering remote shoots in Melbourne until March 4th. I'm currently working with other photographers to do remote/virtual shoots but I hope in future to get my own gear & do more on location remote shoots. I have a city central apartment with a rooftop balcony, large natural light windows, a range of backdrops & can use the buildings facilities of a gym, spa, pool & sauna as well as the indoor concreate fire escape. My rates for remote shoots are less than what I charge for in person shoots. Let me know how many hours you would like me to quote you for & if you like to pay by PayPal or a bank transfer to my UK bank or AUS bank. We would tether the camera to the laptop & screen share so you can control the settings/shots. We can chat over FaceTime or WhatsApp during the shoot.
