My name is Joe Saltzman and I am a professional photographer and artist.

I've been shooting nudes for the last 30 years but it is NOT the only thing that I do...so relax :-)

I specialize in 3D computational photography and special effects and work primarily in the feature film, television and video games industry.

I’ve had the pleasure of taking photographs for more than 40 years, I’m obsessed the visual arts and consider myself blessed to able to do this for a living. I am formally trained as a fine artist having received my education at the Academy du Cret and the California Institute of the Arts. I shoot both nude AND non-nude models and work with models at all experience levels.

I am a certified Softimage instructor and have been using Adobe Photoshop for 19 years (since v2.5 in 1992).

I’ve worked at the senior executive level in the motion picture and television industry and held positions at Cannon Films, MGM/Pathe and MCA/Universal (Hollywood) and BBC Television (London).

In terms of my creative work I like to think outside of the box. The only thing that I care about is what the final image ends up communicating to the viewer. My work is ALL about the image and what is being said in the frame at a given moment; that special magic that can happen in time...my goal is to try and capture that. If I can make the viewer feel something when they look at my work then I’ve succeeded in my task, otherwise not but in any case it is the image that I put before you that will hopefully speak for itself.

I hope my strength is the ability to create an environment when and where magic can happen and I will use what ever tools and skills are at my disposal to try and capture that. I'm always learning and hopefully improving my abilities. I have no time for people with big egos or bad attitudes. I prefer to spend my time trying to create art rather than engaging in pointless discussions about it, I am a quiet observer who believes in positivity and possibilities.

Lastly, I always treat models professionally and with the utmost respect.
I am always 100% professional and I don't mix business with pleasure, ever. I've been working with nude and non-nude models for more than 20 years and I can provide anyone considering working with me first class references as to my integrity and ethics.
