My name is Thierry Sibarani, I am 24 years old, and I live in Balikpapan, East Borneo, Indonesia. Right now I have daily activities as an employee in one of the oil well service companies in Balikpapan.

I have the big passion in modeling world since 2009, which I got influenced from the famous television reality show, America’s Next Top Model. Since watched each episode of the show, I realized that I thought I had talent to be a model. Although I have no experience in modeling before at all, I was sure that by trying, confident, and learning hard, I can jump into a modeling world someday and be a good professional male model.

So in 2010, I started to ask for the help from my cousin who is a photographer, named Thomas Hutagaol. He had some experiences to shoot models with a lot different type of artistic concepts, also got involved in the project of a menu promotion in one of the Japanese restaurants in Jakarta. He taught me how to pose well and giving emotional expression in front of the camera, that related to the photograph’s concept. He also took some pictures of mine, with many kind of concepts and be an artistic picture.

Beside that I also join a modeling agency in Balikpapan, where I’ve ever joined the fashion show for Balikpapan’s Independence Day Celebration in August 2010. Sometimes in my leisure time, I also take some pictures of me with my friend, who is also a professional photographer in Balikpapan.

I really don’t have much formal experience before to be a model of a brand or getting involved in a big scale of fashion show. But with the big passion, faith, hard work, and the willing to learn from the “expert”, I am sure I can be a good male model who can give the good contribution for the people whom I will get involved into.

That's way by joining this site, I wish I can show some of my portfolios to those people out there who have the passion also in modeling and photography. I am so glad to receive some opinion or suggestions about my photos that can make me improve my skill as a model. I hope to spread my relation for some people who have the same passion with me, like photographer, designer, stylist, and of course model.
