I'm a model turned dancer/dancer turned model, who has begun dabbling in retouching. Actually, when I first started modeling, I would retouch my photos at home with very remedial software, just to see how I could change the photos and found it really fun and liberating changing images to make new and different images.

My boyfriend is a photographer and we share the retouching jobs of my own work...and recently I began playing with his work of other models...he liked it and encouraged me to get on MM so he could credit me as a retoucher. :)

My experience is limited, and currently I do most of my stuff in just a trial and error, 'let's see what this function does' kind of way.

Sometimes I take pictures that REALLY speak to me and try to make them superior, and sometimes I take an image with potential and make it usable.

Sometimes, some pictures...well, they are just not retouchable. :) But I like to play with the ones that are.
