Rebecca was first connected to the fashion industry through Alencon Couture Bridal in Mill Valley, California. After working closely with head designer as her Assistant Designer, she returned to Nebraska to complete her Bachelors in Textile Science and Apparel Design. She acquired many awards and honors while attending the University of Nebraska. During summer internships she worked head designer of TOMBOY Design Studio in Kansas City, Missouri and along side Active wear Designer of Athleta in Petaluma, California. In 2007 Rebecca returned to Kansas City to join the TOMBOY team and created R. Lee. Rebecca has worked her way to Assistant Designer at TOMBOY, working with customers from conception to complete garment. Rebecca extends her work in design through collaborative projects with local press and fashion designers. R. Lee has generated great press and Rebecca is looking forward to building the brand and range of designs.
