When I was young, I was highly involved in musical theatre. The first time I didn't get cast in a show I auditioned for, I was devastated. I still wanted to be involved with the show and decided to help with the tech side. I took a stage make up class and loved it. Ever since, I have been fascinated with the ability to transform a person into a work of art.

I have just recently begun to branch out from school plays or friends portfolio shoots and started to work with some photographers to create interesting subjects for their shoots as well as modeling for shoots. As someone who grew up with a sewing machine, I have also created the costumes for several shoots.

I value the creativity of the designs in make up just as much as the skillfulness of the execution. I am looking for a way to hone my skills and gain experience. My ideal work would be as an assistant to a more advanced make up artist in the Atlanta area while also appearing in some shoots.
