I LOVE makeup! I started as a 12-year old in competition dance, doing my own makeup, and from there it has grown to far more than a hobby. After copying numerous looks out of fashion magazines and wearing "too much" makeup to school everyday, I knew I had an overactive fascination with the art of beauty.

Education
I attended a Motives Cosmetics Application class in 2007, where I learned tips on not only makeup application for different face and eye shapes, occasions, and skin tones and types, but how to promote myself professionally as a makeup artist. I continually educate myself by watching tutorial videos, viewing makeup sites, and practicing on my friends. One of my favorite inspirations for my work is the Victoria's Secret catalog. What can I say? I love to make women look and feel beautiful!

Experience
I started a professional makeup kit in 2010 and have been adding to it constantly to stay updated with current trends. You'll find many high end brands, but I don't discriminate against quality drugstore products.

I have done makeup and hair for brides, bridesmaids, mothers-of-the-bride, mothers-of-the-groom, family members, flower girls, grooms, and groomsmen for eleven weddings. I love the consultation process and creating the perfect look for a bridal party. I push comfort boundaries with the women I work with because I have a daring personality that is reflected in my work, and they end up loving their makeup!

[fun fact] The most faces I have completed in one day (toner to setting mist) is ten!

Goals
In addition to designing wedding and prom makeup, I work with an entertainment company doing makeup for recording artist photoshoots. I would love to expand my portfolio with fashion and editorial looks, and I'm hoping to gain referrals on this website for weddings, photoshoots, film, live performances, commercial print ads, or whatever you have in mind for working with a makeup artist.
