So much more than just you’re beautiful, cookie-cutter pop star, Nicollette Varanelli is the much needed answer to the teen pop industry’s void that has been present for so long. Raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York, 20 year old Nicollette has been singing and modeling for over 10 years. She has entertained thousands by singing her original music live with her band on NYC’s club circuit, selling out theater’s in the tri-state area, and also sang the National Anthem at Shea Stadium, Madison Square Garden, and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Nicollette is presently working with vocal coach Don Lawrence (Whitney Houston, Mick Jagger, Lady GaGa,). She also formerly trained for years with vocal coach William Riley (Celine Dion). She’s worked alongside many notable producers including Konvict Musics Gibson, writers/producers Rock City (Justin Bieber, Drake, Britney Spears, Rihanna), The Soul Diggaz (Ashlee Simpson, Missy Elliott, Beyonce), Kevin Declue (Hilary Duff), Eddie Galan (Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, Colby O’Donis) and Andre Simone (Prince). Nicollette has also recently modeled for some of the best photographers including Josh Ryan (Maxim, FHM, Playboy) as well as Karl Giant (Wendy Williams Show, Tyra Banks Show, Beyonce, Alisha Keyes). She also appeared in Kat Deluna’s Video for her first single “Whine Up”.

If there’s one thing Nicollette knows, it’s that molding herself into a pop star is not just about sharpening her sound. Becoming a pop star entails perfecting the entire package. More often than not young entertainers don’t fathom the idea of being a role model to their fans. Nicollette is a rarity in that respect. Her decision to contribute all of her album’s proceeds to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis is telling of this, and she is determined to be a positive role model for young women. She recently has teamed with Major League Baseball’s pitcher Craig Breslow on the Strike 3 Foundation raising funding for childhood cancer research.

She also has developed a real life image which, while glamorous, is extremely approachable. "I want to be an artist who can serve as a role model for young girls," she said. Recording engineer Gordon Hammond (Taylor Swift, Robert Plant) said, "I have worked with the very famous and artists just starting out, but rarely have I worked with an artist like Nicollette who is so grounded and professional and so ready to go to the next level. She is a Star".

Producer Will Smith agreed. "Nicollette has all the tools to become a major player in the music industry for years to come. Not only is she beautiful but she has the vocal chops and songwriting ability that is all too often missing in today's Pop Music scene," said Smith.


Though she hasn’t quite made it to the forefront of the industry just yet, Nicollette has managed to reach thousands through www.myspace.com/nicollettesings, and www.youtube.com/nicollettesings with the accumulation of over 160,000 friends, it’s evident that a fan base does in fact exist. This rapidly growing fan-base are able to watch Nicollette’s dynamic voice and stage presence as she performs live with her band in the tri-state area. Recently selling out the Fairfield Theatre, aided by a full page picture/interview in the Connecticut Post. Just recently showed her versatility singing 60’s music to a sold out crowd at Tarrytown Music Theatre opening for the late Johnny Maestro. She closed with Etta Jame’s, At Last; showing the crowd her range and emotion as they showed their appreciation by giving her a standing ovation.
