There's no question, I'm a geeky engineer. For many years my main artistic output was in the form of modelling terrain and building and painting scale models of cars, tanks, aircraft and other machines. I took up photography with the intention to pursue this industrial fetish -so to speak-, but quickly became fascinated by human subjects.

My current project "Battlefield Her/Him" attempts to bring together both interests, by using the human body as the terrain in military dioramas. At the same time, I'm interested in shooting models in industrial settings, urban decay or futuristic/cyberpunk compositions.

I'm quite mobile within the Netherlands and always interested in checking out good shooting locations and getting to know other photographers, models or artists working in the same or similar fields.
