About Me

I picked up photography as a hobby in 2006 and my interest in learning all about it has continued to grow. I am mostly self-taught, but I have taken two college courses to help get better understanding of lighting, posing, and studio work. I am often asked by friends to take photos at events for them which I gladly do for the experience. Now, I've joined a number of photography groups to gain more time behind the camera, in various studios/outdoors/etc., shooting models, families, anyone who is willing to take the time. My goal is to become a better photographer, to have my friends and family really be impressed, and joining Model Mayhem gives me an avenue to publish my work and reach out for contacts.
