Rico’s On 3rd is South Bay’s pre­mier cut­ting edge salon known for spe­cial­iz­ing in every­thing from the lat­est trends to sophis­ti­cated Vin­tage looks.

In 1976, the salon orig­i­nated in a small salon in the back of an alley. Because of Snooky’s hard work, deter­mi­na­tion, and faith, her dream has flour­ished into an icon salon in the hair and makeup indus­try in the heart of his­toric down­town Chula Vista! Rico’s on 3rd con­tin­ues suc­cess­fully as a fam­ily owned and oper­ated Salon that is devoted to serv­ing the community.

All of our pro­fes­sion­als con­tinue in edu­ca­tion to learn every­thing they can in the indus­try in order to stay up to date with the cur­rent trends and to remain on the cut­ting edge.
we are actively involved in many runways, magazine shoots, and also tv segments.
