I am a painter originally from the dc/md/va area. My work is narrative through figurative and abstract gestural painting. I like to paint issues that are challenging and dealing with sex and lifestyle. I generally paint from impulse, rarely do I pre-meditate or take too much time conceptualizing my work. My compositions address old masterwork paintings and themes that have greatly influenced me, and my subject matter is inspired by hip hop, fashion, glamour and religion.
