Hello! My Name is Rachel Louise Jungers (pronounced "Youngers") and I am an aspiring photographer. I got into photography in college and did very well in all my classes, making photo of the week for each of my assignments in beginning photography. Two of which were published in the school's literary journal. I currently work at a studio in the Tacoma Mall, which has perfected my studio photography style (seniors, families, children, etc.). Even though I'm very good at what I do, I still consider myself, unfortunately, a beginner.

I have joined Model Mayhem to break out of that and get back to the creative photography I enjoyed so much in my college courses. I'm hoping this could be the stepping stone to bigger and better things. My intent is to get more practice in different areas of photography and become the very experienced photographer I know I can be. I'm young enough that I have plenty of time to develop my own style and see what I rock at. As of right now, I don't charge any fee to shoot photos. I want to gain the experience I'm lacking before I make people pay for my photography. So! If you would like to help me build up a stunning portfolio, I would greatly appreciate it!

I will NOT shoot nudes. If you want me to shoot with no shirt, I will not have your chest showing ladies (it will be covered with an arm, prop, etc.). Lingerie is something I'm undecided on...if it is tasteful, I may consider it. If anything it would be a playful shoot, not a sexy one.

Please note that I'm lacking in proper photography equipment. Yet another reason why I still call myself a beginner. I shoot with a crappy Olympus point and shoot camera, I don't own any back drops or lighting materials, and I don't have any editing software D: I'm hoping to remedy that over the next few months, getting my finances in order so I can save up the money for proper equipment. If I'm lucky, my dad may let me use is Nikon D90 :D And I may sneek in and borrow the photo lab at school to edit, though photoshop is number one on my list of things to buy.

I will be posting my availability weekly. With the holiday season upon us however, I wont be available too much for the next few months (it's blackout period at work and I wont be able to get much time off), but I will make due with what I get.
