Taking a few photo courses and looking to get into photography. Supposedly photographing a live model is the best way to improve skill and framing, as well as I'm interested in making a unique portfolio.
My current project is about facial expressions. Detail photos of the face showing how much hair, lips, brow and eyes each contain their unique contributions to telling the story of the emotion.

The project is titled "Reading Faces"

I'm not going to sugarcoat at all. This is very amateur and I'm just starting to build up my equipment/set/lighting. This is a first project using a model and breaking away from hobbyist photography.

The reason for reaching out to a website like this for a start is that I'm looking for a large degree of variation of models. Many many different faces each showing the same expression and how they differ, yet tell the same story. The most important aspect of this project isn't a beautiful face. I'm looking for every degree, ideally I would be able to photograph at least one or two models with exceptionally beautiful faces, but it's extremely important for this project to have variety. Exceptionally "ugly" is just as meaningful. I would like to show the obvious beauty of a perfectly shaped face, and the beauty that can be found in a face which it isn't immediately obvious. Minimal make-up is best (eyeliner/mascara).

This is an ambitious project for myself, and it will be a long time in the making. I would be grateful for any models willing to volunteer their time to assist me with this project and hopefully add some new dynamics to their portfolio.
