My love for photography was inspired by a spontaneous road trip across the country, and with not much more than an old vintage film camera, my course in life would be forever altered by that journey. At the time, my impetuous decision to partake in this adventure was impelled by nothing more than instinctively trusting my inner voice that was so adamantly cheering me on saying, "Just do it." It was only later on looking backwards that I would connect the dots and realize just how priceless following my intuition would be. Once I fell in love with the truly creative life, there was no turning back.

Photography chose me. It is the one medium by it's very nature that forces me to be quiet, pay attention, and be sensitive to world around me. It is through the lens of my camera that grants me access to tap into an unexplored world, a place of curiosity, mystery, self expression, and deep appreciation for the beauty which unfolds around me every day. My images confess stories of the beauty of the human spirit, the delicate intricacies hidden in the minutia of nature, and the search to find splendor in the mundane and unexpected, and charm and potential in that which most would not give a second glance to. Photography has unearthed a very simple truth to me. It has revealed that the things which inspire have magnificent power, and I am greatly humbled to be a witness to, and recorder of that power.
