Hi Everyone! My Name is Jessenia Cruz. I am 22 years old and an aspiring makeup artist. I have always had a creatively artistic spirit. Growing up I always had an interest in art of all sorts. I like to draw, design clothes, style hair, and take pictures of anything that catches my fancy aside from doing makeup. I've been experimenting with makeup since I was 13. After graduating High School I was not able to attend the college I had been accepted to (in which I would have studied Fashion Design) for lack of financial assistance. But since then, I have sought new endeavors to create a name for myself in the Fashion and Beauty Industry through Makeup! I began by doing different styles of makeup on myself everyday to work and quickly started to receive requests by friends, family and even customers! I have done Bridal Makeup and some work for small photoshoots in my home. In 2010, I was able to take a small course on application of Basic and Bridal Makeup where I received a certificate for what I learned. Most recently I have been working at Lord&Taylor hoping to make my way to a cosmetics counter. Recently I met Jeanine Recckio. She suggested that I model for a new hair product by Sephora and since then I've been avid about networking and meeting new people to penetrate the world of Beauty and simply be around more people who share my interests. I know my work is still at an amateur level but by creating this page I hope to find new people to work with to advance my portfolio. Hope You Like My Work!
