About Me

Immediate Goals: I am expanding my portfolio so yes I do accept TFCD. I am also interested in edgy fashion shoots for designers/models doing shows in Manhattan or Brooklyn, NY. Please feel free to private message me if you can arrange for evening or weekend pre-show/post-show photoshoots in Manhattan/Brooklyn, NY for TF*. Please leave a post or private message me with your contact details, date and time of show.

About me: I am picking-up my passion of photography again, now that I have time in the evenings and weekends. Looking forward to applying what I learn regarding proper lighting and post-production techniques for Digital Cameras, to give pictures an improved natural look with models. As well as controlling variables for indoor studio and runway style fashion shoots. Hope to experiment more with mobile lighting, filters, and light diffusers for the runway fashion shoots.

Had many mixed experiences over about a decade with my father's all manual, film cameras (Nikon & Canon), which I occasionally borrowed for class trips (great leaning experience on field trips to the museums and zoos) and few specialty cameras for scientific research. Some post-production techniques for managing film exposures and using a few ancient pieces of photodeveloping equipment. So, now need to work on learning core parts of the digital side of photo editing.

I love the dynamics and unpredictability of live evening shoots the past year, so decided to take my photography to the next level. Would like to focus more on capturing the energy, emotions, and intensity of fashion shows that my friends put-on in 2012. So, in terms of shoots, anything edgy or 'off-the beaten path' would be of interest, especially unique fabrics/accessories. At the other extreme, I hope to also build-up a lifestyle/commercial portfolio as well, so I'm looking to network with great models/actresses that are good with improv or can take direction well (In the event we do work together, you will be asked to review and sign model releases and/or contracts, requirements vary dependent on client needs).

Looking forward to new photographic adventures...Life is a journey. It is not the beginning or the end that matters the most but everything in between.

Wishing you all the best in the New Year! - Peter
