As a professional photographer Franks association with award winning and celebrated photographers such as Dennis Brack former whitehouse photographer, Joyce Tenneson Canon Explorer of light, Gerald Merna Washington D.C. senior post office photographer, Calvin Hayes journalist, Clay Blackmore Camera Craftsmen of America, and Bruce Barnbaum photographer environmentalist, have put Frank in front of hundreds of spectators demonstrating his photographic expertise. Frank has traveled far embracing his love of photography via destination weddings, corporate events, photography seminars, and tradeshows as well as shooting personal stock.
On the journalism topic Frank frequents the National Press Building, Washington Convention Center, prominent hotels such as the Willard Hotel and the Mandarin Oriental, and Universities, capturing current event as they unfold and providing images to the press for news releases. Franks work has lead him to be present among esteemed politicos and celebrities such as General Collin Powell, Microsoft's' Bill Gates, actor Jimmy Smith, singer Justin Bieber, and top chef Wolfgang Puk, to name a few.
Frank's award-winning photographs have been exhibited in New York, Washington D.C., Maine, Virginia, Maryland, and Florida. Frank has worked with several charity organizations such as the USO's Wounded Warriors Program, Autism Speaks, MS Foundation, and Children's outreach programs (Washington CAP, L.E.A.P Program, and Leesburg R.O.C.K), providing quality images to promote their cause.
Frank has served as photography instructor for youth as well as adults, on a number of subjects including Traditional Film photography, Darkroom Processes, Digital Photography, Portrait Posing and Lighting, and Light Painting. Frank also led the management of the shooting studio, the large format printing department and darkroom for the Visarts art center in Rockville MD.
Franks commercial work consists Fine art digital archiving for painters, sculptors, art dealers, and clothing designers such as Wendy Pepper Cottage Industries, Judith Heartsong and Natasha Karpinskia. "I love creating vibrant imagery for a commercial shoot. But I also like spending time with a family, creating memorable portraits. I really have no preference. Every shoot is a unique challenge, with unique possibilities."
