I have a full time job, but photography has been a hobby for me for around 5 years. I'm at the point now where I am trying to figure out if I want to give up my day job and do the photography thing full time. I've primarily stuck to Sports and Travel Photography in the past, but lately I've been looking to branch out into different types and styles of photography. I would really like to find my niche. I am continuously studying and learning every day about different styles, different techniques and I am always wanting to take it to the next level. Knowing that, a friend of mine suggested MM :)

**Photographers**

If you are looking for a free assistant for the day, or someone to mentor, feel free to contact me with ideas, and/or what you would like from an assistant. I am looking to network and meet up with photographers in the GTA and gain knowledge from your experience in the business. Therefore, I would love to tag along with an experienced photographer on a shoot to help out in any way whatsoever and in exchange for my time, learn from you about the industry, your business, lighting techniques, post, work flow, image storage etc... I've always thought the best way to learn is through osmosis :)

**Models**

Since I am new to the scene I do not charge models for my time, nor will I compensate models for their time. This is a venue for both parties to learn and improve their craft in an attempt to create a piece of work that both people will enjoy. If you are new to modelling or experienced, and are looking to expand your portfolio through an arrangement of this nature, then by all means reach out to me with your ideas. I'm looking to expand my portfolio and always willing to experiment with different styles. Contact me with your ideas and we can start from there.

FYI, Models will need to sign a standard model release and provide two pieces of identification. I will only work with models 18 years of age and older.

What to expect:

1) Start off with correspondence through MM
2) Meet in a public place for coffee to: introduce each other, discuss/collaborate ideas for a shoot, look up sample shots on a laptop, pick some ideas.
3) Choose a time/date/location for a shoot

If we decide to work together, my #1 priority is, and will always be your comfort and safety level. If you are not comfortable with me, then we won't be able to get the best possible end result - image(s) we're both happy with. Unlike some photographers, I prefer and recommend you bring an escort to a shoot. This person should be someone who you will make you feel comfortable and at ease. My only request will be that this person be totally unobtrusive so we can do our work. My #2 priority is for you to have fun and enjoy the experience. I know that if I ever want to do well in this business, word of mouth can either make you or break you. So, If you are 110% comfortable, and if we're both on the same page artistically/creatively, that will give us the foundation for our goal: The best possible shot!

Once we have completed the shoot, we can either meet again to select the best pictures, or set up something online to do the same thing. I've often found the pictures I think are the best, may not be the same ones that you think are the best. You will be just as involved with the final decision making process as I am. From there, we'll pick you're top 3(+) images.

If you have any questions, make sure you ask *before* we shoot. We'll make sure everyone's expectations are on the table.

*Fitness (anything athletic)

If you have an idea outside these styles, message me and let me know. Just because I haven't listed something there doesn't mean I wont attempt something new! I'm open to creative ideas.
