I view makeup as something more than what cosmetic conglomerates want us to see--I see it as an art-form utilized in specific ways. It must be constantly honed, practiced, and updated, regardless of the latest "must haves." My goal (and role) as the MUA on set is to produce the look(s) needed for the shoot. I am a great listener and truly love what I do.

What You Can Expect:

-A strong Communicator. The more dialog and understanding I have prior to a job, the more seamless work I can produce.
-A Professional. I'm on-time and prepared. I don't "flake out." I arrive early to set up.
-A Positive Person. In addition to makeup application, my job requires me to have my client feeling as great as possible prior to their shoot. I'm always upbeat and am easy going.

What I expect:

I'm going to be blunt: I'm not on here to date, get a boyfriend, hop in front of a camera, etc. I consider the safety of everyone involved as a top priority. I will not travel to dangerous locations, or late evening shoots. On a side note, I'm not here for a "friends" contest. I prefer dialog via text, phone calls, and/or email. I expect professionalism of everyone involved. If you need to cancel, please provide me with 24hour notice. Also: Models, PLEASE inform me if you look different than your photos (i.e., you have bad acne, etc.) Please inform me if you have any type of eye or skin allergies and/or infections. I prefer models send me unedited photos for consideration.

A bit about myself: I began doing makeup on friends and family at an early age and always remained self taught. I have a youtube channel :youtube.com/paradine1000 where I feature makeup tutorials using some of my favorite products. My company, Woolcott Makeup Artistry, works exclusively with Bliss Salon in Plymouth, MI. I can provide hair stylists for on-location work but require a one week notice.

My favorite makeup is beauty makeup. I specialize in bridal makeup but can create dramatic looks as well. Please note that I don't do Special FX work but can refer an artist that does.
