About Me

One of my earliest memories as a child were of my Aunt and Grandmother, always snapping away at their respective cameras, my Aunt with a Canon AE-1, and my Grandmother with a store-bought throwaway.

I remember being fascinated by the process of the whole thing, from the incessant fidgeting and perfecting of my Aunt, to the casual snapping of my Grandmother. When we would later look over the photographs, I would be enamored by the way the light so beautifully played over the valleys and peaks of the faces and hands from the more professional Canon, as well as the jilted colors and warped features of the cheap, plastic elements that the throwaway would portray.

Later in my life, I would keep going back to old photograph books and be captivated by how these snapshots would capture such vivid memories for me, happy or sad. When I realized that I too could create and capture these memories, not just for me, but for others, my life changed.

In my photography, I strive to capture these memories for others through the use of colors, tones, and overall feeling. I aim to capture every emotion my subject is feeling whether they are a graduating senior, a newly engaged couple, or a wedding in a way that is natural, candid, and alive and will keep you pleased for years to come.
