Burlesque performer, amateur fetish and kink model, aspiring actress (kidding!), Bettie Page imitator and 21st century ecdysiast shows my dark side. My lighter side, the one I play during the day, is that of a Software Engineer.

I prefer the sensual art of Shibari or Japanese Rope Bondage. My husband is very in to the BDSM and Kink scene for the art of visual stimulation, and I honestly love being the center of attention, especially his.

My first tattoo is that of an ambigram, which I have placed on the back of my neck, mostly because, as my first, I wasn't sure I was ready to share it with the world, and as such wanted to ensure that it didn't detract from my general appearance. It reads chaos upright, and when I invert, such as in yoga (something that gives me peace of mind), it reads order. This is an homage to my love of Quantum Mechanics and yet, each tattoo that I get falls in line with this theme. I also have a single wing (on my left, more sinster side), which forms a half back piece. The right side of my back, a cauterized stub of a wing (to portray that of an angel who has lost their wing, and fallen to earth), with a quote from Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics in the original Greek. On my right hip, is mandarin for my Chinese Astrological symbol, Metal Rooster. It is on my right hip to ground me, in who I am, while my left wing lifts me up to who I wish to be. A yin and yang, male and female, black and white, order and chaos, all make up who I am, many shades of gray, and in gray, you project your own color based on your outlook in life. Burlesque and Modeling afford me the creativity to express myself.

My favorite medium is black and white. The way the shadows play across the scene and the human body. The way a photographer can capture the colors with only light and shade, it allows you to project your own thoughts onto a scene.

My favorite genre, is vintage, most particular the vintage fetish modeling made popular by Bettie Page and others in the mid 50s. These photos portray some of societies deepest darkest fantasies, those of submission and bondage, that were so taboo, and still are in some cultures, especially in America. A good photo should make you ask questions, and that's what I love about modeling.
