About Me

As owner of Jackie Powell Photography, I specialize in contemporary magazine-style portraits in the South Houston area.

I have a Bachelors in Photojournalism from The University of Texas at Austin. Over the past 20 years, I've produced product and package images, directed photo shoots for Fortune 500 companies, as well as art directed creative assignments for several well-loved, national brands.

In 2010, I returned to photography and opened my studio, focusing providing fashion-inspired, elegant portrait images for women of all ages.

Because I require hair and makeup for my portrait sessions, I would like to join MM to connect with hair and makeup artists. I also occasionally require models to shoot portfolio work.
