I kind of failed to grow up in Roermond, the Netherlands in the 70's. The idea of becoming a photographer had never crossed my mind. I was thinking Jet Pilot or Pop Star. My first camera was a Agfa Silette and I was about 10 when I got it, but the story really starts in 1980. My friends all wanted to become pros in Motocross and the first step was to get their picture in the Motocross magazines. By that time I had a Canon A1 along with a few used lenses and I became our official Motocross Photographer.

From sports into wedding photography and so on...
