I graduated UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Film & Media Studies in 2012. I had a great experience reading and writing about film theory while there, but had the privilege to work on set as well. I am, for the most part, a self-taught photographer and have spend years working on my own aesthetic, working mostly on scenery and landscapes. I have always wanted to work with more human subjects in order to break into editorial photography. I currently work at a retail photo studio, gaining technical skills and developing posing techniques.

My dream is combine my interest in queer media theory with my interest in photography to create my own representation of the vast gender spectrum. There is still a large prevalence the traditional masculine/feminine dynamic within this field. I hope to break down such clear cut boundaries with my photography.
