My name is Devin but you can call me D. I'm the designer behind the Bao Mae brand. Organically my affinity for the dark and mysterious blended with the long, time romance that I have had with poetry and storytelling. By this union was Bao Mae born.

Despite the bold look of each individual piece they all manage to retain some elegance about them while still complimenting one another. When I first laid them out they looked as though they belonged in the wardrobe of a person of royal lineage. In a sense this collection was comprised of jewelry that was designed to adorn the body of one with (da)rk (ro)yal blood in them and so because of this I chose to name Bao Mae's first and current collection "The Daro Collection."

It is customary for a brand to know their target demographic and I have found that I do not have one. There is no particular one that I am looking to conquer nor is the brand exclusive to the female gender. It's more so an individuals mindset that I feel will draw them to the elegant and bold pieces of Bao Mae. This brand produces adornments that celebrate individuality and encourage people to be fearless in their creative expression as well as fiercely confident in the choices they make in selecting garments or accessories to wear. In a phrase Bao Mae is for any and all who dare to be different.
