I am a Eugene, Oregon based artist. My work primarily consists of figurative drawing and sculpture and my sculptural medium is usually clay that is either kiln fired or molded and casted in metal, glass, etc. I find the human figure endlessly fascinating and challenging. My style is a 'filtered' representation that seeks to incorporate symbolic elements that speak to deeper concerns; sometimes subtly and sometimes dramatically. At present my schedule unfortunately doesn't permit me to engage in sculptural projects (they are simply much too time intensive). I am, however, interested in continuing to develop my skills and portfolio in figure drawing, specifically portraiture.
