An American photographer of German birth, he has lived in various locations abroad and in the States, now he resides in Havre de Grace, Maryland and Manhattan, New York. His first real experience in this field was at age fourteen when his father presented him with his first camera, a 35mm Leica. Since then he has been educated in the art of photography but continues to seek and gain more knowledge and refinement that persists to this day. He began working for a subsidiary of the Chicago Tribune; currently he works as a freelance photographer. Specializing in black and white photography in a variety of disciplines the substance of his work is the classic fine art print, featuring distinctive images.
