Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Erica’s passion for doing hair started at the young age of 13 when she cut off all her hair due to a heartbreak situation. After being taken to a salon to correct it, she was told that there was actually nothing wrong with the cut ! She’s been in the hair industry professionally since 2007 and is still continuing her education. Always looking for the next up and coming trend, you could say Erica is a thrill seeker in the hair world. After winning multiple student and professional competitions, she prides herself on creative thinking and often refers to herself as a hair “artist”. She aspires to get more editorial and runway work under her belt, but in the meantime you can find her in the salon doing everything from the standard color and cut, to making an entire animal kingdom out of hair.
