I am incredibly grateful to have a career in photography. I have a professional history in wedding and event, newsprint and portraiture... and it's my love of shooting portraits that have drawn me to Model Mayhem. It's the great resource you provide that will allow me to add to my portfolio and break away from weddings eventually, to exclusively shooting models and completely immersing myself in the fashion photography/media industry all together.
I have spent the last twelve years immersed in everything photography and it wil be forever in my soul from being an active member on photography forums- fredmiranda.com, photo.net, usefilm.net, betterphoto.com, dpreview.com etc....to attending myriads of photography seminars through the years, with the greatest instructors in the field and applying all my acquired knowledge and technique to the art of photography. I have shot traditionally but have leaned more towards a photo-journalistic style when it came to wedding and portrait shoots. I am always developing myself and constantly looking for creative opportunities in all of life's situations to learn, apply and evolve my passion for photography.
I have a small studio in my home that I have utilized for children, individual, family and engagement sessions. I strive to create a photo session when I work with a female client in particular, that makes her feel not only beautiful, but alive.
I want the subject to feel like it's their moment to have their personality captured when they work with me. I am a perfectionist at heart and that's what I strive for in the end...the ultimate capture frozen in time to be cherished and admired by if not all but only one...the subject.
I have worked in all forms of photography including models/fashion, news print, children, high school seniors, maternity photography, weddings and events, sports and landscape photography.
