My name is Jay. I shoot based out of Plainview, NY. I started JayVel Photography because I have been doing photography on the side of my full-time job for about 5 years and decided I liked doing it so much that I would make it an actual thing. For the last 2 years, I have mainly been working with a local pin up photography company as one of their two main photographers. As that company still grows, my goal is just to branch out so I can keep learning and getting better with every photo I take. My main style of photography is the outdoor strobist style which really brings out the model's features and poses from the background with the use of multiple wireless flashes. Although that is my main style, I would like to practice different styles so that I could produce the finest photographs that make me and the models happy.
